TX Republican "Little Baby" Briscoe Cain removed from convention

Not a picture from his Jr High Yearbook
This is not the first clown rodeo for Baby Briscoe. From a previous post:
State Representative Briscoe Cain from Deer Park had a temper tantrum vowing legislation in retaliation to the walkouts of April 20th to honor students killed at Columbine High School.
Baby Briscoe is a white wing tea bagger from Deer Park. He looks like a 12 year old. He was rated by Texas Monthly as the worst legislator in the history of Texas. (That is a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the idea. He sucks.) Briscoe continued being a little dick by driving to Ft Worth, gaining access to the Texas Democratic Party (which isn't hard since are conventions are open to the public) and handing out gun nut signs. It didn't work out as he planned. From the Star Telegram:
Cain, consultant Aaron Harris of North Richland Hills and two other men were asked to leave the Fort Worth Convention Center exhibit hall, but returned later in the Ninth Street foyer.
They were questioned and released about 5:20 p.m. by Fort Worth police.
Briscoe flashed what looked like a gun around his waist and was escorted out along with his political consultant who probably had to drive him to Ft Worth, using his own gas money. The police had a discussion with Baby Briscoe and released him to his mother.

His mother stated:
"I am so sorry for my son's behavior. I have told him to not play cops and robbers in the open and to never take his toy guns out of the house. I intend to whoop his ass once I get him home."

What the hell is wrong with you? "Little Baby" Briscoe Cain

There is a State Representative from Deer Park Texas. He is called "Little Baby" Briscoe Cain. Baby Briscoe is one of those people you want to look at and ask "What the fuck is wrong with you?". Last night would have been a good night to do it.

After the Democratic debate our own little baby Briscoe threatened a Presidential Candidate and fellow Texan, Beto O'Rourk with a tweet referrencing his little AR-15. This isn't Baby Briscoe's first Muttin Busting competition.

A few years ago he was flashing g his concealed handgun at the Texas Democratic Convention which got his little ass thrown out of the convention center. His mother was called to pick him up. She stated:
"I am so sorry for my son's behavior. I have told him to not play cops and robbers in the open and to never take his toy guns out of the house. I intend to whoop his ass once I get him home."
Little Baby Briscoe is going to get another ass whoopin and he should. He should be visited by the FBI. He should be charged with making a threat. He should resign. He should lose his law license. He should be treated like every other immature gun nut idiot who issues a threat to a Presidential candidate.

This isn't a fuckin game.

Little Baby Briscoe wants his wall

Texas State Representative Briscoe Cain of Deer Park has been known to look and act like a 12 year old.

Last year State Representative Briscoe Cain from Deer Park had a temper tantrum vowing legislation in retaliation to the walkouts of April 20th to honor students killed at Columbine High School. He the was removed from the Texas Democratic Convention after flashing his concealed weapon prompting his mother to respond:

"I am so sorry for my son's behavior. I have told him to not play cops and robbers in the open and to never take his toy guns out of the house. I intend to whoop his ass once I get him home."

Baby Briscoe is at it again this time filing a bill to take $2.5 Billion out of the rainy day fund and use it to build his racist wall along the Texas border. From the Statesman Baby Briscoe mimics Donald Trump:

The bill would protect “the security interests of the United States and of Texas” Cain said, and prevent “unlawful entries into the United States and this state, including entries by terrorists, unlawful aliens, and narcotics.” The governor would be authorized to enter into contracts to meet those ends, he said.

Just like trump, Baby Briscoe is a liar. Look for his mommy to whoop his ass behind the tool shed or maybe someone in the district is willing to challenge his baby ass on in 2020.

Wonder what the (R) stand for? TX State Representative "Little Baby" Briscoe Cain

Little Baby Briscoe is at it again showing everyone what the (R) stand for, and it's not "Republican".

I've said it before. The (R) stands for Racist. It's what the republicans have become starting at the top of their party. Baby Briscoe is just following his daddy trump and making racist comments even towards a fellow Asian American Representative. Baby Briscoe is a senior attorney at Fulton Strahan Law Group. When Baby Briscoe made a threat to Congressman Beto O'Rourke his law firm was flooded with calls for his resignation. From KHOU:

Incessant emails, phone calls and voicemails have been inundating Kevin Fulton’s law firm, Fulton Strahan Law Group, since early Friday morning. Fulton shared with us just a few of the 804 voicemails left in less than two days.
“We had to shut the phones off. They took my email address and signed us up for a bunch of different newsletters and spam and porn sites, everything they could find, trying to shut down the email system," Fulton said.

Making threats to candidates might not be enough to fire someone in that law group.  Maybe racism is. (R) Racist.

Little baby Briscoe has a temper tantrum

#NoPlaceButTexas. It's a trump nickname "Little baby Briscoe".

From the Texas Tribune
State Representative Briscoe Cain from Deer Park had a temper tantrum vowing legislation in retaliation to the walkouts of April 20th to honor students killed at Columbine High School. From the Star-Telegram:

One Texas lawmaker, Briscoe Cain, R-Deer Park, responded to the walkouts with a plans to draft law that will punish schools by making them return state funding if students participated in the gun control events. "...We will be seeking solutions to ensure they do not receive tax dollars for those students not in attendance," Cain said in a press release.
Many school leaders took an adult approach to the walkouts and coordinated with the students to make the event safe and educational. Cain, much like a member of the NRA congress, acted like a 2 year old and threw a fit promising legislation to punish the schools that acted like adults.

If Cain can't look like an adult he ought to at least start acting like one.

Briscoe Cain is a Texas State Representative from Deer Park Texas. He enjoys hiking, horse riding, and long walks on the street with a loaded AR-15.

Little Baby Briscoe has a primary opponent

Little Baby Briscoe is a Texas State Representative from Deer Park, House District 128. He is well known for making threats and fondling of his little gun in public. He now has a challenger and it seems like he is a real conservative.

Robert Hoskins has filed to challenge Briscoe Cain for House District 128, a deep, deep, red district. Hoskins seems to be a talented individual currently sitting on the Baytown City Council with experience in the private sector, and President of the Goose Creek School Board. On the surface he seems to be a true Conservative Republican as opposed to the white wing wacko Briscoe Cain.

Cain might have a challenge on his hand. Hoskins has a long list of endorsements from Mayors, City Council Members, and members of the community. Cain probably has the endorsement of the various gun nut groups, tea baggers, and other white wing wackos. This will be a true test of the Republican Party. Do they want to be Conservatives or continue to be a bag of dicks?

The HD 128 race also has a Democrat, Josh Markle. Markle has recently outraised Cain.

Recap of the Texas Democratic Convention. The good. The bad. The funny.

This was a great convention. Lets start with the funny.

Texas State Representative "Little Baby" Briscoe Cain thrown out of the convention
The convention security tossed Briscoe Cain for showing off his gun inside the convention area. We also had a Hearst with a RIP sign for the Democratic Party parked outside. Both were childish moves with Baby Briscoe being escorted out by his mother pulling him by the ear. You could hear Briscoe yelling "mom! mom! you are embarrassing me!" throughout the convention center. 😁

The Good.
Overall this was a great convention with nearly 8000 delegates in an off year. Lots of new faces. The Convention Center is a great place with ample meeting rooms, although the Environment Caucus and Stop Gun Violence needed rooms twice the size. Their crowds were much larger than expected. The TDP staff should be thanked for a smooth convention. Food was convention food but there were good restaurants nearby. The music played during the session was upbeat and modern. Good choices! The opening videos were great especially Mike Collier's "I'm Mike Collier" and MJ Hegar's video, Doors, that has gone viral. The multimedia was well done. Audio, lighting, etc was all well done. There were fantastic speeches both days with many standing ovations. Delegates left energized.

Gilberto Hinojosa was re-elected as Chair of the Texas Democratic Party. Good choice. He was a clear winner by voice vote.

No mention of trump
As I said before, the Party focused on the many issues facing Texans including health care, jobs, immigration and many more. Trumps name was mentioned a total of 5 times. Anyone who says "The Democrats have to run on something beside attacking trump" was not listening or doesn't want to listen.

Family First Rally
The TDP held a very well attended Family First Rally in support of the immigrant children separated from their parents. State Representative Mary Ann Perez summed it up best "We are better than this!". She is right. The issue was referenced throughout the convention.

The Silence
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee gave another great speech on the floor. She played the audio of the immigrant children crying for their parents. The convention floor stopped and it went silent. You could hear a pin drop. It was very disturbing but moving.

The Vice-Chair
There was a brief controversy about the race between Carla Brailey , the current Vice-Chair, Debra Peoples, and Rose Salas. All were well qualified for the position. Peoples and Salas eventually withdrew calling for unity within the party. I think it work. Carla Brailey is our Vice-Chair.

No LaRouche
The LaRouche cult forgot to show up. That was good. Really good. The newbie were not subjected to their random singing fits and calls for impeachment of their elected official of choice.

The Bad
We had the usual controversy from the far left, calling for a division of the house after a clear winner was determined by voice vote, challenging the chair, but nothing that couldn't be handled by the Parliamentarian. There were no unresolved controversies.

At least 3 vendors were allowed into our convention that shouldn't have been there. A gun nut organization, a school voucher group, and a constitutional convention group. I wrote about them here. You have to wonder what the rationale was for letting them on our floor.

The prayer
A Catholic priest gave the prayer for the closing general session. Unlike the previous day the priest referenced Christianity too many times to a group of delegates committed to the freedom of religion. He incorrectly claimed the founding fathers created our governing documents according to the Christian religion. We shook it off quickly.

Our revolution
This group continues to bother me. When your house is on fire you shouldn't complain about the color of the curtains. Grab a bucket and help put out the fire! The caucus had too many people saying "Give our party back to the people". (Who has it?) Our party does NOT need a revolution. We need people to quit complaining and start helping.

Read the rules
Do us all a favor. Before the next convention, read the rules of the party. It would help move the convention along.

Little Baby Briscoe gets a little boys haircut

You just can't make this up.

Texas State Representative Little Baby Briscoe Cain had to own the Coronavirus and defied Governor Abbott's executive order in order to get a little boys hair cut. It really takes a little man to openly defy a government mandate. It's as if the Republican Party doesn't believe in the "rule of law" anymore. (and they don't) Anarchy. Defiance. Show off your little guns. Pull out your little dick.

That's little Baby Briscoe. He only believes in obeying the law when it comes to others. Not him. He is special. Like his haircut.

Little Baby Briscoe Cain's Law Firm: Death Threats are free speech

Little Baby Briscoe works as a Senior Attorney at Fulton Strahan Law Group. They issued the following press release in support of Cain's right to make threats towards a candidate for President of the United States.

"The Founding Father of the firm is a decorated war veteran who served this country so that people can enjoy basic constitutional rights like freedom of speech."

You would think lawyers would know that free speech does not include making threats toward other Americans, or towards a candidate for President especially by a State Representative. Free speech does not mean you can yell FIRE in a crowded theatre. Our free speech has always been limited. Briscoe has the right to make threats. He also has the right to suffer the consequences.

Even I know that. Maybe the lawyers at Fulton Strahan might want to pick up a copy of the Constitution. And read it.

"Little Baby" Briscoe Cain shelter in place

Oh My Gosh. How did this 12 year old get elected? The Republican Party ought to take his little ass out in the 2020 primaries.

Little Baby Briscoe is the State Representative representing the City of Deer Park. He is known for saying and doing pretty childish things like flashing a gun at the Texas Democratic Convention. Today while Deer Park first responders were battling a huge fire at a chemical storage facility in his district, the city was in a shelter-in-place, and the community was on high alert, Cain thought it would be cute to post the following on Twitter:

But just a few hours later, after the fire had dangerously spread from 1 to 6 chemical tanks, Baby Briscoe added fuel to the fire by putting out incorrect information and being called out for it. From his Facebook page:

Thanks Rob for the screen shot!

Tx Representative Money Mayes Middleton: Money Matters

State Representative "Money" Mayes Middleton from Galveston has gathered a few of his republican buddies and wrote to Governor Abbott to urge him to return the state to work.

"We need you to open the state so a few Texans can be the guinea pigs for this viral experiment. Sure some, maybe many, will die, but my stock options need your help and their sacrifice."

Ok. That isn't what he wrote, but you get the idea. Money Mayes put $2.5Million of his own money into his run for State Representative spending 5 times more than what would have been necessary if the race was competitive. It wasn't. Not even close. This is a new thing for the Republican Party. Find a rich person, let them use their own money, hope for a win. Some have not been successful such as Kathaline Walls and Tony Buzbee. They lost in an embarrassing fashion. Mayes won his race and is serving up his constituents to the virus.

Money's letter contains the new dog whistle calling the COVID-19 the "Wuhan virus", Wuhan being a replacement for China. He only got 8 other republicans to sign this letter, notably missing is State Representative Dennis Paul in an adjacent district. Paul's wife is Asian-American. He did get the signature of Little Baby Briscoe from Baytown but considering Briscoe's radical, racist comments in the past, that was expected. And he got right wing nut Tony Tinderholdt who is working on his 5th or 6th marriage. Others who signed on are:

Matt Krause
Valoree Swanson
Bill Zeldler
Matt Schaefer
Kyle Biedermann
Mike Lang
Tony Tinderholdt

Raise $0. Spend $0. Win big in HD128.

This is strange.

Mary E Williams won in the Democratic primary for House District 128. That is Little Baby Briscoe Cain's district. She beat Josh Markle 73/27 with about 4700 votes to 1767. That isn't a squeaker. That was a huge beat down. So why is this strange?

According to William's campaign finance reports she didn't raise any money. She didn't spend any money yet she won by nearly 40 points. Every report she filed was filled with zeros. She had no loans, no donations, no out of pocket expenses and no in-kind donations. Nothing. She has no presence on the internet. No webpage. No Democratic voting record and yet she wins decisively.

Josh on the other hand raised $69,000 but only spent about $5000 and has about $64,000 left to donate to a charity, a campaign, or a club. That too is strange.

Not quite sure how anyone but a right wing, gun nut, ahole, can win in HD129, but one did in the republican primary over a well qualified real republican. Little Baby Briscoe received over 11,000 votes to Hoskin's 3,000.

Also not quite sure how someone who didn't raise or spend any money can win. Along with Chris Diaz, and Eman Afshar, this is strange.

Activists protest Texas State Representative Little Baby Briscoe Cain

Gun safety activists held a great protest a block away from Texas State Representative "Little Baby" Briscoe Cain's home. We had a visit by the Deer Park Police thanking us for a lawful and peaceful protest. Cain also stopped at the intersection but refused to look at us or engage but he sent two 18 year olds to attempt to harass us. It didn't work. They were armed with NRA talking points but clearly were not educated on gun rights. It was like talking to a stump.

The protest was in response to Cain's threat to Presidential Candidate Beto O'Rourke. It was well attended with beautiful weather. Great job Rob! Here are a few pics:

Think Republicans are going to sanction Little Baby Briscoe for his threat toward O'Rourke?

Don't hold your breath.

After the mass shooting which left 27 dead at the Sutherland Church, the Republican leadership did nothing.

After the mass shooting in Dallas which left 5 police officers, dead the Republican leadership did nothing.

After the mass shooting in Santa Fe which left 10 students and 2 teachers dead, the Republican leadership did nothing.

After the mass shooting in El Paso which left 22 shoppers dead, the Republican leadership did nothing.

After the mass shooting in Odessa which left 7 dead, the Republican leadership did nothing.

So if you think the republican leadership in Texas is going to call for Little Baby Briscoe's resignation, or remove him from his committee positions, or refer the issue to the Harris County DA's office or to the FBI, you really haven't been paying attention.

The Republican leadership will do nothing.

Texas "Guns on Demand" bill

Texas House Bill 357 (get it? 357?) sponsored by  Johnathon Stickland (R-Bedford) has been sent to the Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee. From Texas Scorecard:
Recently, State Rep. Jonathan Stickland (R–Bedford) filed a bill to allow permitless carry of a firearm, a Republican Party of Texas Legislative Priority, designating it House Bill 357. Conservatives and pro-gun Texans will recognize the bill number from the popular handgun caliber, .357 Magnum.
Get it? 357? Isn't that just cute? HB357 is called "Constitutional Carry" and would allow anyone to open carry a gun without training, without a background check, and without a concealed handgun license. Stickland carried the bill for open carry allowing the open display of guns except in certain areas. It has had no effect on crime or prevention.

This bill is supported by the Texas Republican Party and has a few sponsors with no companion bill in the Senate. Discussions with local Representative's staff shows little support in the Senate or the House. Hopefully this lack of interest will continue. Baby Briscoe Cain out of Deer Park and Mayes "Money" Middleton of Galveston have signed onto the bill. Both of these are from the far white wing of the republican party. Baby Briscoe is known for flashing his gun at the Texas Democratic Convention last summer and being escorted out. Money Middleton self financed his run for State House for a tune of $2.5 Million, with $2.25 Million coming from his own pocket.

Hopefully this bill will never see the light of day. It truly defies common sense. Here are the authors and sponsors:

Airline security questions Texas State Representative on flight to Pennsylvania

November 8, 2020 Houston, Texas. Texas State Representative Briscoe Cain was held and questioned when attempting to board a flight from Houston to Philadelphia. According to Homeland Security Officials Cain was held for over an hour prior to the flight. From a spokesman:

We were alerted to the issue by an anonymous posting on Facebook. The picture of Cain raises serious questions about the safety and liability of the airline and required immediate attention. A review of his twitter feed confirmed our suspicions. We held Cain for approximately 1 hour to verify his identification. He would have been released much sooner but we were unable to contact his mother to verify his age.

Homeland Security has strict protocols concerning a minor flying alone. Out of an abundance of caution we held Cain back until he could prove he wasn't a 12 year old or acted like one.

Mocking Texas Gov Gregg Abbott's disability

Republican say "This shouldn't happen to me". Democrats say "This shouldn't happen to ANYONE."

Gregg Abbott has some balls to be offended by being mocked for his disability by two staffers from Empower Texas caught on an open mic. From The Texas Tribune:
An Abbott spokesman denounced the comments by Cheshire and McDonald. "It reveals a lot about an organization’s character and morals that uses profanity to mock a person in a wheelchair, and this audio is disgusting and hate-filled," Abbott spokesman John Wittman said in a statement. "It is sad to think about what else this group may be saying about people behind their backs when they think they aren’t being recorded.
Empower Texas is the same group Abbott has supported as they stacked the Legislature with far white wing radicals such as Jonathon Stickland, Tony Tinderholt, and Little Baby Briscoe Cain. This is the same group that Abbott has supported as they passed far right wing legislation such as open carry of firearms.
Abbott and Empower Texas both have supported a president who has mocked a disabled reporter on live TV and now Abbott is whining about being mocked himself? It's not fun when the morally bankrupt individuals like Trump, people who you have supported and encouraged, turned their ire towards you.
Abbott has no moral authority to complain. He should sit down, shut up, and take what he deserves from his own party.
